Workforce1 Career Centers
From Senior Planet Resource Exchange
New York City operates Workforce1 Career Centers in every borough where you can drop in for help in your job search. They offer assistance creating a resume, writing a cover letter and preparing for interviews, and can also refer you for interviews at companies that are hiring. The Centers also offer workshops in computer skills and more, and their computer labs are a great place to go to look online for job openings.
