Queens Legal Services helps low income Queens residents with all their civil legal needs. Many areas that concern older adults are addressed by Queens Legal Services, including: powers of attorney, health care proxies, living wills, drafting a will, planning for tenant succession, the reduced fare program, the Senior Citizen Rent Increase Exemption Program (SCRIE) , the Elder Pharmaceutical Insurance Coverage Program (EPIC), Social Security, SSI, Medicare, and Medicaid.
