Prospect Park
From Senior Planet Resource Exchange
Prospect Park encompasses 585 acres of land in Brooklyn and was designed by the same landscape architects that created Central Park. Some of the features that Prospect Park has to offer are the 90-acre Long Meadow, a lake, and Brooklyn's only forest. The Park is also home to the Prospect Park Zoo, the Audubon Center, and the Celebrate Brooklyn Performing Arts Festival.
The park is an excellent place to enjoy nature, get exercise, have a picnic, rent a boat, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
