[edit] Overview
There are many websites that allow you to choose from many different songs and genres to listen to. There are also online radio stations that allow you to listen to live broadcasts or past radio shows. Every website works a little different but all of them are easy to use and have the same general features.
There are also music websites that allow you download music from the internet to your computer. These downloads cost money, but once you download a song it is on your computer and can be listened to whenever you want. You can also put downloaded music onto an mp3 player or an iPod.

In order to access music available on iTunes you need to download their free media player. This piece of software allows you to play your music, save playlists and organize your music, burn CDs, watch videos, and of course buy music. In addition to buying music you can also buy television shows and movies. The cost of downloads varies but songs are generally $.99 each with whole CDs costing around $10-$11.
