Publicized largely through its on-street course catalog distributed through standing boxes on sidewalks and the mail, the Annex holds more than 8,000 events a year. Fluent in popular culture, the Learning Annex is best known for its lectures, which can feature speakers like Sarah Jessica Parker [1] and P. Diddy [2], as well as more serious presenters such as Desmond Tutu [3] and Henry Kissinger. There are also a wide range of “how to” seminars focused on practical skills, such as money management and real estate, and more refined ones, such as wine tasting.
