Before entering the website, collect as much information that you can about the person or family name that you wish to check on.

The following information is useful at the outset of research.

That great hall is where our GREAT/GRAND PARENTS were held and documented upon entering "AMERICA". The "WALL OF HONOR" is the highlight of visiting "ELLIS ISLAND" and you can submit the name of your ancestors to be inscribed there as well. I would like to encourage you to take the time to do this.
