Create the Good is a grassroots movement which encourages individuals to do good in their community. It was formed out of the belief that anyone, anywhere, at any time can make a difference. The Create the Good website helps individuals create their own community projects and track their success.

Additionally, Create the Good offers an online community that encourages discussion of ideas and experiences.

Visitors can search for volunteer opportunities by entering their zip code and/or a topic of interest.

Visitors can download Do-It-Yourself "Toolkits" which can be used to organize events in their own neighborhoods. Toolkits include a facts on organizing a walking group, organizing a shredding event, keeping your home safe and performing a sidewalk and street safety survey.

Groups and individuals can post volunteer opportunities for others in their area.

Visitors can also join the mailing list to be alerted when new "Good Things" are announced.
