Steps to Create a New Account

  1. Click the "log in/create account" button located in the top right hand corner of every page.
  2. Click on the tab that says "Create New Account."
  3. Type in your desired User Name (This is a name which will appear on the history page and how other users will know you. You can use your real name or choose an alias)
  4. Type and retype your email address.
  5. Type and retype your desired password (must be at least 6 characters long)
  6. Once all the information has been filled in, click the "Create New Account" button at the bottom.
  7. A confirmation will be sent to your email address. You must check your email for a letter from Senior Planet asking you to verify you address. Once you have done so you can begin editing the Resource Exchange.


Note:
Creating an account allows you to be an active participant in the SeniorPlanet Resource Exchange. Many people online choose not use their real name but rather to use an alias, also known online as an avatar. For example, Mary Smith might use the alias MSspark or Mary17. Personal information is not shared with outside organizations.
