- The Art Department: classes in acrylic, ceramics, life drawing, stained glass, sculpture, watercolor, and weaving; art exhibits and art sales open to the public throughout the year.
- Instructional Classes and Workshop Series: creative writing; current events discussion groups; Health and Wellness series; art, literature, history, short story, Jewish studies and opera discussion; Mind Aerobics; Book of the Month Club.
- Computer Classes: beginner to Internet
- Exercise classes: Body Fitness, Dancercise, T'ai Chi, Yoga
- Trips, Walks and Excursions: opportunities to explore NYC and environs, near and far
- Performances: concerts, poetry and literature readings
- Singing and Using Your Voice: CSC Chorus, Basic Voice Training class
- Movies: old, new, documentary, travel
- Parties: celebrate holidays, birthdays, special occasions
- The Restaurant Club: eat together in a local or new place once a month.
- The Box Office: tickets to plays, dance, opera.
- Social Service: information and referral to a wide variety of community agencies
- Support and Connection Groups: Alzheimer's and Parkinson Family Caregivers; The Art of Living Alone; Moving On
- Bridge: beginner classes, and, for experienced players, social and party bridge
- Scrabble: for advanced beginners and beyond
- The CSC Café: open Monday through Friday from 11:30 - 1 p.m. for lunch and conversation
