I'm tired of buying toilet paper.

Has anyone else noticed that everything we buy in grocery stores is smaller?   I remember the first time I became aware of it.  It was during the 'supposed' shortage of coffee.  The prices were through the roof and people were drinking more tea.  Then the prices came down a bit, but coffee was no longer in 1 lb. packages.  It was 12 or 13 oz.    We got over it and moved on.   I also remember when the paper bags in the supermarket got smaller.  Now,  the plastic bags in the stores are so small they barely hold 3 or 4 items.  I guess it's to make you feel like you're getting a lot of shopping for your money.    Check out the size of tuna cans.  You can barely make 1 sandwich.  Candy bars are smaller, but the wrapper is still the same size.  The list goes on and on, but MY pet peeve is TOILET PAPER.   Besides having less sheets on them, look at how narrow the roll is.  It used to go end to end on the paper holder, now there's nearly an inch of space.  At this rate, in another few years, it will be like a roll of scotch tape.  I am now buying 24 rolls at a time.  HELLLOOOO, I live alone!..  When company comes,  I need a trip to COSTCO.   This is one instance where less is not more!!!!
