Cleaning Out

I have been going through old papers trying to throw away the hopelessly out-dated material in my files. Some of what I am finding is not at all out-dated though, and impossible to throw out. Like this poem:
Become the Rain
Become the rain, my friend / Don't just let it happen outside your mind
Become the Heart of things
Use your mind for paying the rent/ And getting from A to Z on time
But let your Heart tell your mind / When it is time to let go
And how to make Peace / And how to make grim men laugh
And how to bring a flower back to life.
Become the rain
And how it dances with the wind
Become the silence between the drops / The light between the dark
There you will find the forgotten you
Waiting.
