Seniors, Medical exams and Screenings.

Many seniors who go for their Dr. visits are not getting the information they need about the examination or tests they have just received.  They are very accepting of the doctor's positive or negative response to the exam which was just completed.  Questions that should be asked about   the tests and the numbers are never really discussed. Some seniors feel that accepting medications without question is acceptable without knowing why. Doctors don't  always thoroughly consider all ailments since they deal with them on the premise that  they are just a sign of aging and ignore some of the evidence.  Doctors are not Gods they have to learn every day as we do about our illnesses and our bodies.  Finally, we need to ask  our doctors questions that should  always be answered, to our satisfaction, before we take medications and have operations unnecessarily
