Memory and Aging - Workshop
Date: 1:30 pm, Tuesday February 23, 2010
Cost: Free!
Older adults are capable of maintaining and strengthening their memory through exercising their minds by using appropriate strategies and techniques.
Aging may affect memory by changing the way the brain stores information and by making it harder to recall stored information. Short-term and remote memories aren't usually affected by aging. But recent memory may be affected. For example, you may forget names of people you've met today or where you set your keys. These are normal changes.
Join this interesting workshop presented by Project HELP (of The Education Alliance) where you'll learn new memory techniques and play fun games to apply them!
