Retired In Florida

A born and bred New Yorker, I moved to Florida when I retired. It seems as if everyone here is from somewhere else but the one thing we have in common is our age. One of the things I've noticed is the amount of activities available for seniors. If you're in a Senior Community, there are buses to take you to all the stores, museums, senior centers and of course, the casino. There are evening classes in every high school, and for a nominal fee, you can learn a new language, stretch your body to yoga, or master the computer. This may be "God's Waiting Room", but you can really have a good time while you're waiting.
