A Once In A Lifetime Eclipse - Saturday - 26 June, 2010

Given the week that has preceded this lunar [partial] eclipse how could one reasonably be surprised that all was but a foreshadowing of what was about to be!-

The main cosmic event(s) of the 'morrow ironically occur between just after Midnight and shortly after 6AM  - when most people will still be fast asleep at least on the East Coast.

However, this cosmic cocktail has been in 'prep' mode for so long that its already been a 'player' - influencing the destiny of so many individuals, groups, events, etc. - that it has become veritable cosmic wallpaper.

RESTREPO - No Rest, No Recouperation [A Review]

War is like a pawn shop.  When it's over and you've won, you learn the shop and your 'treasure' are gone forever.

Who could imagine in the tony setting of the 2010 Sundance Film Festival that a documentary about war and all its trappings would garner the Grand Jury Prize!

The Summer Solstice: MONDAY - 21 June, 2010 @ 6:28AM [E.S.T.]

Solstice greetings!  On the eve of the most superb sunrise of 2010 - the SUMMER SOLSTICE - a Comet has surfaced in the East.

What a cosmic double-header!

The lead-up to the Summer Solstice is always so energizing and delightful.  And to have a Comet in its path is trully scintillating!  A sweet dollop of shimmering sunshine...

Make merry!  Make wishes!  Make peace!

HAPPY BLOOMSDAY! 16 June, 2010

Tidings One & All:

THIS IS THE WEEK THAT IS!

This week certainly has its share of dashing Cosmic Curtain-raisers!

To wit, while some slept, perchance to dream - Sunday - 6 June, 2010 - at 1:30AM [E.S.T.] - JUPITER - the Great Benefic - entered ARIES - 'the' planet associated with daring risk-taking and [per-]adventure!

But at 12:49am - the transiting Moon also entered Aries - giving the Aries vibe a 'head' start!

Undoubtedly a cosmic double-header as the part of the human anatomy ruled by Aries is the head.

Memorial Day Monday - Memories, Myths and Majesties

Venus in Cancer strikes a dust-bin pose against Neptune at 7:56AM [E.S.T.].

That's not the cosmic story-board for an "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" duet!

Au contraire, it's faded memories, re-examined in the light of a new day, which cast a sullen sigh over 'what might have been'.

SATURN SURREYS FORWARD - 30 May, 2010

At 1:10PM [E.S.T.] SATURN - the ruler of Capricorn [ born between 20 December and 20 January] is finally - fully forward!

For those born in or around 18 January and/or 18 May - the stick in the mud becomes unstuck.  Whether the log-jam relates to legal woes, spiritual paralysis and/or a crisis in love - there's now a path-way available to seek resolution.

Will a ton of heavy-lifting still be required to surmount the lingering challenges-  Yes, indeed!   All to the good - you need to get going!

SATURDAY'S PLANETARY SALSAS, SAUCES AND SONNETS - 5-29-10

Saturday really rocks out, up and over!  What a planetary spoonful of aspects!

It's a Holiday Weekend but the celestial star-ship is working over-time!

No siesta for the planets -

At 5:13AM[E.S.T.], the transiting Moon [still in Sagittarius] trines Mars.

If you want to head-out early, the wind has your back - especially so for those born between 20 March and 20 April, 20 November and 20 December, and 20 July through 20 August!
