Auspicious Stitches Workshop

Since opening its doors to the public in October 2004, RMA has worked to provide programming, events, and resources for senior audiences. Every Monday, the museum holds an Auspicious Stitches workshop wherein lifelong learners create needlework, appliqué, and other fiber arts based on the iconography of Himalayan art. RMA also screens a short documentary film in the theater during lunchtime, focused on the themes and ideas inherent in Himalayan art and followed by a moderated discussion
