Tai Chai exercise perfect fit for seniors
Just ask the senior citizens who are members of the Queens Botanical Garden morning exercise group in Flushing. There almost 100 members group meet six days a week at 8 a.m. in front of the
wedding garden to practice tai chai, the ancient martial art now widely practiced for its health benefits. The low- impact activity, which entails performing slow, controlled movements with the
arms and legs while breathing deeply, has drawn in many of Flushing's elderly as an easy way to exercise without causing too much of a strain. It's never too late to start exercising. Join us in Q B G.
