A distinguished writer-in-residence for New York University’s Department of Journalism, Pete Hamill will hold a reading and book signing of his edited Liebling: World War II Writings. As a correspondent for The New Yorker, A. J. Liebling spent five years reporting on World War II--writings that chronicle the fall of France, describe his experiences at front-line airfields in North Africa, and offer his eyewitness account of Omaha beach on D-Day.
