Senior Idol

Are you a crooner - maybe not with blue eyes - but with a voice that people say is like velvet? If you're at least 50, an AARP member, and a Brooklyn resident, you can take your show on the road, or at least as far as Xaverian High School where the Ovington Chapter of the AARP will host its first annual Senior Idol competition. Space is available for the first 100 who respond. Those will be narrowed down to no more than 15 finalists. Judges at the final competition on April 12th at 6pm will include Councilmember Vincent Gentile and State Senator Marty Golden - and a surprise celebrity! Call (718) 238-6044 for more information.
