As part of their Distinguished Writer Series, Hunter College presents the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Angela’s Ashes who will be reading excerpts from his memoir, Teacher Man. Published in 2006, the book is about McCourt's 30-year career as a teacher in New York City public schools, and how that period shaped his future as a writer.
