Joan Wile founded Grandmothers Against the War in 2003. On this evening, Ms. Wile will read from her outspoken memoir which tells the amazing story of the courageous, spunky women who stood up for their beliefs and refused to back down. From getting arrested and jailed in Times Square, to marching to Washington, D.C., to speaking and performing in Europe, these activists are sure to inspire you with their hope and determination against all odds.
