As stewards of the globe, it is essential to address the interrelationship between older adults and the environment on a global, national and local basis. The Gray and Green Coalition, an exciting new initiative of the Gray Panthers, is beginning to explore how climate change affects an aging population and how older persons can contribute to a healthier and 'greener' environment. This meeting, intended to educate, influence and motivate, hosts speakers from the United Nations, Hunter College, and Columbia University.
