Urgent City Hall Call to Action!

The City Council has announced drastic budget cuts! This absence of funding will have negative impact on human services, aging services and other vital programs that serve New York's seniors. OATS funding has been completely eliminated. United Neighborhood Houses, and other umbrella organizations, have organized an important press conference to take place today at 3pm on the steps of City Hall to urge restoration of this important funding. Numbers count, and your presence is needed! The final Council vote takes place at the end of the day 6/29.

Timeliness Counts

It doesn't seem possible that you failed to know about the City Hall Event until late Friday. This gave me zero time to assemble a group of contemporaries with a vital interest in the outcome, that would have been glad to accompany me to the event. As it is I'll be hard pressed to make it myself.
