Overview

SeniorPlanet is a community of older adults on the Internet, a place where older individuals share ideas and information in a friendly and supportive environment. Developed by Older Adults Technology Services (OATS) in 2006, the goal of SeniorPlanet is to promote the health and wellness of older adults improving on the daily quality of life.

Three Reasons

Resource Exchange: There are a great many resources available to help senior citizens with everyday problems, if only people know where to look! The Resource Exchange helps you find information about services, educational programs, senior-friendly entertainment, and much more.

Events Calendar: Stay current on discounts, special events, and social happenings for older adults with New York's only online events calendar for seniors. Did you know about the free matinee for seniors at the Brooklyn Academy of Music? How about a workshop at Poets House on love poems? The events calendar will give you new reasons to get out of the house every week!

Senior Blogs: Find like-minded voices and discuss the issues facing seniors in New York and throughout the country. Writers will tackle a broad array of topics including entertainment, current events, finances, and health care. Readers can post comments after every article.
